Isn’t it great to be a kid, especially at Live Oak? For the past two months GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) students participated in an after-school writers’ workshop class taught by Mrs. Ashbrook (a.k.a. Mom).
Each student wrote and published a story. Every story was well written and illustrated. The class ended with an authors’ tea where students shared their work with parents and other authors. Here are just a few excerpts out of the 70 stories written. And remember, Live Oak rocks.
