Mrs. Mary Christine Spellman

Mrs. Mary Christine Spellman, 91, passed away on January 8, 2006, in Escondido, CA, due to Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on February 18, 1914, in Knoxville, IL. Mrs. Spellman was a resident of Escondido, CA, for three years.

Mrs. Spellman served as a US Navy Chief Yeoman during WWII. She graduated from Poly-Technic High School in Los Angeles in 1931. She worked as a secretary and was a devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. Spellman was preceded in death by her brothers William, Berwin and Frank and sister Florence from 1971 to 1993. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Patrick Spellman, Escondido, CA; son & daughter-in-law Michael F. & Judith Spellman, Escondido, CA; daughter & son-in-law Patricia D. & Michael Casey, Fallbrook, CA; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on January 26, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery with Pastor David Plank officiating. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
