County inaugurates farming program

The County of San Diego is one of the partners developing a program designed to encourage and continue the county’s agricultural industry and has presented the program at community meetings as one of the first steps to developing the County of San Diego Farming Program Plan.

County staff provided an overview of the farming program to the Bonsall Sponsor Group on January 3 and Descano Community Planning Group on October 20, 2004. Community meetings were held at Live Oak Elementary School on October 11, October 12 at the Ramona Community Center and October 13 at Valley Center Middle School.
