Six Lady Warrior spikers earn all-league

Avocado League girls volleyball coaches named six Fallbrook High School players to the various all-league teams.

Carli Lloyd and Bree Knitter were given first-team honors, Shelley Morton was named to the Avocado League’s second team, Hannah Haskell earned third-team recognition and Lizzy MacKenzie and Hailey Van Weechel received honorable mention accolades.

“It’s fun for the girls to get recognized for the effort they put in,” said Fallbrook coach Galen Tomlinson.

Lloyd, who is a junior, played setter for the Warriors. Knitter, one of two seniors on the team, was a middle blocker.
