Heaven has a new angel

A few weeks ago an earthly angel was taken from us. Her name was Athena; most of us knew her as Thena. Somewhere the A got lost.

Thena was a regular teenager. She loved life. She was known at Ivy High School for her helping hand with other students. On Wednesday afternoons she would go via the local bus line to Escondido for extra classes so she could graduate as soon as possible. Athena was active in her church, Rainbow Seventh-Day Adventist.
