Mr. Jerry Anton Hajek

Mr. Jerry Anton Hajek, 89, passed away on February 1, 2006, at Tri-City Medical Center, Oceanside, CA. He was born on December 15, 1916, in Chicago, IL, and was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 20 years.

Mr. Hajek retired as a tool and die maker for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Mfg. He served in the US Army during WWII.

Mr. Hajek was preceded in death by his father Josep Hajek, stepfather Joseph Elias, mother Frances Hajek-Elias, brother Edward Hajek and step-brother Joseph Elias. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Jean Hajek; daughter Jeri Lynn Hajek, Tulsa, OK; daughter & son-in-law Sandra Hajek-Abeyta & Dan Abeyta, Fallbrook, CA; grandchildren Dan Abeyta, Winchester, CA, Michelle Crisp, Temecula, CA, and Nicolas Abeyta, Golden Valley, AZ; and great-grandchildren Luke & Jarrett.

Memorial service was held on February 4, 2006, at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church. Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary handled the arrangements.
