Model A Club tours historic Fallbrook

FALLBROOK — Members of the Model A Ford Club of America, with some of their antique sedans, coupes and trucks, recently took a 14-mile-long tour of Fallbrook. Surprisingly, these visitors readily identified the locations of some historic Main Avenue buildings’ relation to the current downtown layout. Docent-led tours of the Old Reche Schoolhouse by members of the Reche Club, who preserve the building as Fallbrook’s first schoolhouse, circa 1896, were followed by a tour of the Fallbrook Historical Society’s three-museum complex.
