Prostitution, gangs, graffiti issues discussed at meeting

An allegation that teen prostitution is occurring on an ongoing basis in Fallbrook drew residents, law enforcement professionals and educators January 31 to Zion Lutheran Church for the January meeting of the Fallbrook Citizens Crime Prevention Neighborhood Rehab Committee.

The Village News first reported on this issue January 5 as a result of a 2005 SANDAG survey analyzing the county’s female teen prostitution. In an interview for that article, San Diego Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Castro said there were ‘half a dozen’ open cases of juvenile prostitution in the Greater Fallbrook area.
