RE: 'Teen editorial portrayed girl incorrectly'

I knew Athena, albeit briefly. She was in many ways a typical teenaged girl, but to classify her as being only interested in boys and parties is grossly unjust. Athena was planning on attending college, and she loved math. She was funny and bright, and I’m sorry that she didn’t get to reach her potential. I feel fortunate to have been one of her teachers, and I’ll miss her.
