Four wrestlers place at Cougar Classic Tournament

On January 27 and 28 the Fallbrook High School varsity wrestling team went to Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley to battle in the Cougar Classic Tournament. The 12 wrestlers made up one of approximately 40 teams that showed up to compete in this annual event.

Four of them placed as follows: Joey Granata took second place at 152 lbs., Nolan Hamblen won third place at 189 lbs., Scott Newell earned fifth place at 160 lbs. and Jake Wagaman finished in sixth place at 215 lbs. Each wrestler deserves accolades for such hard work and great success.
