Creek to Bay Cleanup Day April 29

I Love a Clean San Diego (ILACSD) is sponsoring the Creek to Bay Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 29. In the Fallbrook area volunteers will be cleaning up dumped appliances, furniture, construction materials and other trash that has accumulated along the creeks and roadsides of DeLuz. There will be two check-in places in the DeLuz area of Fallbrook for volunteers who want to help with the cleanup effort.

1. Welburn Gourd Farm, 40635 DeLuz Road — (Saturday only) 9 a.m. until done

2. DeLuz Heights (De Luz Heights Road and Jones) — Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until done

Volunteers are welcome to spend as much time as they can spare anytime during the day. Workers are asked to wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants and a sun hat and bring water, lunch and sunscreen. Organizers encourage everyone to help clean up the mess others have left in the community.
