The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) is attempting to build a church on a lot on Via Monserate Road in Fallbrook on which it will not fit. It is an agricultural lot with a huge riparian area (40 percent of the lot) that drains over 200 upland acres to the San Luis Rey (SLR) River.
