Nielsen concludes first pro season with Swiss all-star game

Nils Nielsen began his professional volleyball career with a season in Switzerland which concluded with participation in the Swiss all-star game.

The 2000 Fallbrook High School graduate played for Pallavolo Lugano during the Swiss volleyball season which lasted for approximately 6 1/2 months. The Swiss league teams played one game each week while taking a break during the Christmas season.

“It was actually the first time I’ve lived in Europe as well, so completely new experience for me,” Nielsen said.
