Bottom Shelf sale ongoing

The Bottom Shelf bookstore continues its summer sale with specials on inspirational/humorous, faith and values materials and all music — sheet music and instructional books as well as record albums, tapes and CDs. In addition, through June 23 the featured authors will be Danielle Steel, Belva Plain, W.E.B. Griffith and Tom Clancy. Hardback books by these authors will be 35 cents each or three for $1 and paperbacks will be 10 cents each or three for 25 cents.

The bookstore, located on the lower level of the library at 124 S. Mission, is operated by Friends of the Fallbrook Library and all proceeds benefit the library and its programs.

Donations of materials that are clean and in good condition are always welcome and there is a particular need of hardback general fiction. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest books or large collections of National Geographic. Anyone wishing to volunteer should stop by the store and pick up an information form. The bookstore is open Monday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Information: (760) 728-3835.
