Charter school moves a few miles from Bonsall site

“The choice for an alternative educational [option] will remain for the Fallbrook and Bonsall students,” said Jennifer Cauzza, program director for Julian Charter School (JCS). “However, they will have to drive six miles down the street to take advantage of the option.”

JCS took over what was once known as Bonsall Charter Academy for Learning (BCAL) this past January and created North County Academy (NCA) after the Bonsall Unified School District (BUSD) revoked the charter of BCAL. The program was allowed to stay at its current site on BUSD property until the end of the school year.
