FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Music Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dana Stanford has received a Volunteer of the Year Star Award for her outstanding and unselfish service to the Music Society. The award was presented at the annual San Diego Performing Arts League Star Awards ceremony on Monday, May 22, at the Sheraton Hotel in San Diego with Fallbrook Music Society Board Members in attendance.
“Fallbrook Music Society is deeply grateful to Dana Stanford for her commitment to all ticketing responsibilities for our concerts,” says Dr. Brenda Montiel, President of the Society. “No one can imagine the number of hours and creativity this dedication takes, and to do this on a volunteer basis has been a tremendous gift to the Society.”
Ms. Stanford is a music teacher at Alvin Dunn Elementary School in San Marcos and has her own computer company, Automation Services Corp. Dana also volunteers her services for Trinity Episcopal Church in Escondido, where she sings in the choir and as a soloist, and for the Palomar Chorale, where she sings and volunteers her services as librarian for the group.
