Farm Bureau needs you

There is little debate that Fallbrook and farming are inherently connected. Nearly every road in our community hosts at least one nursery, grove, or a business that depends on the local farmers. Stand on any high spot in our town and a farm will be within your view. For Southern California, we should feel pretty good about that. But this is something we should not take for granted. Right now farmers are pressured by many issues including rising costs, static prices for our products, the threat of exotic diseases and insect pests, and land use policies. If the farming community is to continue its presence in Fallbrook it must have a united voice, and that is why I believe membership in the San Diego County Farm Bureau is essential. If you are a grower or depend on growers for your livelihood, you should be a Farm Bureau member.
