Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve to host art exhibit

The Santa Rosa Plateau Foundation and Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District will host an opening for the Ecological Reserve’s Ninth Annual Art Exhibition on Saturday, July 8, from 7 until 9 p.m. Titled “Connections: A Celebration of Beauty and Biology,” exhibited artwork will compliment interpretive displays showcasing the importance of the reserve in protecting wide-ranging animals such as mountain lions and migrating birds. The recorded movements of one mountain lion will be featured in a map display illustrating the importance of linking locally protected areas.
