Fireworks prohibited in Riverside County

CDF/Riverside County Fire Chief Tom O’Keefe and Riverside County Sheriff Bob Doyle would like to remind all citizens that fireworks of any type, including sparklers, are prohibited in Riverside County. There are penalties for the use, sale, transportation and manufacturing of fireworks within the county.

Law enforcement agencies throughout the county will be enforcing zero tolerance for illegal fireworks. They will be confiscated. Persons who are caught using them are subject to arrest, citation and/or fines. Anyone causing a fire by the use of fireworks will be financially responsible for all...
