The Western States Police and Fire Games (WSPFG) is a multi-sport Olympic-style athletic program held annually to promote physical and mental wellbeing among law enforcement and fire service men and women through sports. The WSPFG is the current successor to the original California Police Olympics first organized in 1967. The San Diego Police Athletic Federation hosted the 2006 games between June 18 and 24 and expected a total of approximately 7,000 participants in all of the events.
