Mission RCD earns Clean Water Champion award

The Mission Resource Conservation District earned a Clean Water Champion award at the County of San Diego’s Clean Water Summit June 30 at the University of San Diego.

The Mission RCD earned one of four Clean Water Champion awards. The district was joined by the Master Gardener Association, the Chula Vista Nature Center, and Quail Botanical Gardens.

“Each of those organizations in their own way is really making a difference,” said County Supervisor Greg Cox, the master of ceremonies for the award presentation.
