US Ambassador visits Fallbrook

On Friday evening, July 7, Fallbrook resident and Honorary Consul General to Papua New Guinea Charles Cheathem provided an evening reception in his home for the visiting current US Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Evan Paki.

In attendance were friends and family of Mr. Cheathem, many of whom shared an interest and knowledge of gems and minerals and the design and creation of jewelry. Attending the reception was fellow Fallbrook resident Peter Bancroft, author of “Gems and Crystal Treasures,” who autographed a first edition that Mr. Cheathem had purchased years ago.
