Men! Are your eyes not as good as they used to be? Do you have trouble clipping your toenails? Well, I did! Last June I had emergency surgery and ended up with a colonoscopy bag, which I had until the surgery was reversed on November 30. The surgeries went well and I’ve had a full recovery. During or after the first surgery I had a ‘small stroke’ which affected the peripheral vision in my left eye (my good eye). Since I haven’t had much peripheral vision in my right eye since an aneurysm damaged it in 1989, this was really a problem.
Due to the problem, I have had a hard time clipping my toenails. My wife has been going to a salon in the Albertson’s shopping center for her pedicures. She suggested I go and have them done. She had seen a couple other men in there one day, so I went. After a short wait a young lady took me back to an easy chair with a tub of warm water in front. She took my shoes and socks off and lowered my feet into the water. The chair started to give me a vibrating massage while she worked on my feet.
Just a suggestion, men! It doesn’t hurt to be pampered once in a while also. I’ll be going back!
