This was the reply from the Post Office I received about unwanted junk mail.

“There are a few different ways you can take your name off of the mailing lists that distribute advertisements.

First, you can write any one or all of the following companies with the full name of each individual in your home, address, and a specific request to stop receiving mail from their agency. This will stop the delivery to your home for five years, and then the request needs to be submitted again:
