Do I have this right? The recall petition to unseat the legally elected Governor of California (Davis) was originally floated by Republican Kaloogian. The attempt was going nowhere ’til Republican Congressman Issa personally put up massive amounts of his own money to make the petition drive a success. In the ensuring run-up to the election Issa was shoved aside, as were all other candidates, as the “Terminator” exercised some muscle.
