10-year-old Fallbrook girl publishes poem

PENNSYLVANIA — Highlights for Children has announced that they have published a poem entitled “Dawn-Flower Fairies” in their July 2006 issue written by 10-year-old Fallbrook resident Holly Hayton, a student of Iowa Street School.

Holly, the child of Bruce and Tammy Hayton, enjoys reading, listening to music, singing, spending time with her friends and writing. The child’s future plans include becoming a writer. Highlights for Children was founded 60 years ago. Its readers are youngsters from many parts of the world.
