Burgener ends baseball season with Most Improved, all-league honors

Cody Burgener concluded his high school baseball career with the Most Improved Player honor at the Fallbrook High School team banquet and second team all-Avocado League honors after a vote of the league’s coaches.

“I thought I had a pretty good season. I’m happy with it,” Burgener said. It was a very fun year there, the funnest year I’ve had.”

Burgener added that he got along well with his teammates, who contributed in making the season enjoyable.
