Wednesday, July 19 was a warm, humid evening in Rainbow. A shortage of parking spaces at the small Grange Hall and an overflow crowd were accurate indications of a very hot agenda item on Rainbow’s Community Planning Group meeting.
Addressing an obviously predisposed and expressive audience, Granite Construction manager, Gary Johnson, provided the Rainbow Community Planning Group and audience an informative and articulate presentation concerning his company’s proposal to build an 155-acre quarry that would sit on 311 acres in Rainbow.
