Rainbow neighborhood terrorized

RAINBOW- Residents in the 2000 block of Rainbow Glen Road reported that nine to ten gunshots were fired outside their residences and 24 mailboxes were damaged, between 1:00-1:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 23, by two or more individuals in an older Isuzu Trooper with a loud exhaust. Eight residents say they witnessed the crimes.

“All it takes is one slug to kill someone,” one resident said.

Witnesses say it appears the passenger in the vehicle used something similar to a 2”x4” piece of wood to destroy the mailboxes while shots were fired at the same time throughout the neighborhood.
