A fire ignited in trees located near La Paloma Elementary School, at Fallbrook Street and Calle de La Paloma, Monday afternoon at approximately 3:30 p.m., requiring Fallbrook Street to be closed for just under two hours. The blaze burned one and one-half acres before being fully contained by 5 p.m.
