Warrior spikers win San Diego Fall Classic

Fallbrook High School’s girls volleyball team won the San Diego Fall Classic tournament played September 8-9 at the Epic Volleyball Center in Poway.

The Warriors won all seven of their matches, including a win over Santa Fe Christian in the tournament finals. Fallbrook won 14 of 15 games and placed three players on the all-tournament team, including tournament Most Valuable Player Carli Lloyd.

“It was nice,” said Fallbrook coach Galen Tomlinson.

“The first day we were able to get a lot of kids some playing time,” Tomlinson said. “We never missed a beat.”
