“Her smile would light up a room,” said Kathy Daley, a friend of Brianne Shelton’s. “She was a great joy.”

Brianne, a 24-year-old nurse described as exuberant, determined, enthusiastic and compassionate by her friends and family, lost her life in a plane crash enroute to San Quintin, a migrant village in Baja California, México. Brianne, with a heart for the hurting coupled with a compassionate nature, was on her second medical mission with Mexican Medical Ministries when the crash occurred.
