Charles Mitchell

Charles Mitchell, 85, passed away on September 2, 2006. He was born on February 15, 1921, in Santa Paula, CA. He was a resident of Fallbrook, CA, for 34 years.

After the death of his mother when he was 3 years old, he was brought up by his maternal grandparents, Dr. & Mrs. Charles Anderson, in Jamestown, NY. Later while attending University of Pennsylvania, he left school to join the Army Air Force during WWII. He served more than three years, including 17 months in Burma, and earned several medals.
