Spence Lehmann, born September 23, 1916, was honored for his 90th birthday, complete with champagne, at the weekly Monday meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook, held at the Grand Tradition, Fallbrook. Lehmann was also recognized for his 30 years of membership in the Fallbrook Rotary Club, including one year as their president. His wife of 62 years, Rosalie, passed away last year. Lehmann’s Stanford University education and PhD from Brown prepared him for a career in chemistry as a chemical engineer, including time at Oak Ridge in Tennessee, where he was involved in the “heavy water” project...
