As a nation, we should be ashamed

Glen Holzhausen’s letter (9/7/06) demonstrates his reliance on numbers to piece together his diatribe regarding George W. Bush and his policies. He also assumes that I am a Democrat (which I am not), whereas I am actually a registered Republican and have been for years. However, I’m a “thinking” Republican who can see that our party has been taken over by corporate interests and the bottom line.
