Senior Center sponsors Avocado Cribbage Tournament

It was another great day in Fallbrook, the Avocado Capital of the World, when 60 cribbage players gathered for a day of cribbage. The Fallbrook Senior Center was the main sponsor of the Fallbrook Avocado Cribbage Tournament for the sixth year. Co- sponsors included Calavo Growers, Del Rey Packing House and the California Avocado Commission.

On October 14, all players took home delicious avocados. Locally grown Lamb, Hass and Reed avocados were donated by Calavo and Del Rey. All players took home at least five avocados, with all qualifiers and the top three winners in the Time Passer toting hom...
