La Paloma is where the wild things are!

Cockroaches! Eating bugs! What a “wild” week at La Paloma! Students kicked off the chilly week after our Thanksgiving break with a visit by the San Diego Zoo’s Dr. Zoolittle and his animal friends. The presentation helped students learn more about animal migration habits. During the presentation, several students had a “creepy” encounter when live cockroaches crawled on their bodies. Several brave volunteers, including students and teachers, showed why they should be the next contestants on “Fear Factor” by eating live beetle larvae.
