St. Vincent de Paul adopts families

FALLBROOK — The St. Peter’s Chapter of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) will spend an additional $28,000 to help people in need in the community during this Christmas season.

First, SVDP responded to the Fallbrook Food Pantry’s extra needs. During the holiday season this local pantry is inundated with food requests. As a result, even though St. Peter’s has its own mercy food pantry and soup kitchen that feed hundreds of people each month, SVDP donated an extra $6,000 this month to help the Fallbrook Food Pantry with its expenses.
