Dale Cody Powell

Dale Cody Powell, 88, passed away peacefully at home on December 31, 2006. Born in St. Louis, MO, on October 28, 1918, Dale and her late husband Fred retired from Chicago in 1975 to enjoy the warm weather and sunshine. Although retired from business, life was busy, busy, busy.

Dale and Fred were married in 1940 by Dale’s cousin, Monsignor John Cody, who later served as John Cardinal Cody of Chicago from 1965 to 1982.
