Hasvold named boys Most Valuable at cross-country banquet

It was no surprise that Bret Hasvold received the boys varsity Most Valuable award at the Fallbrook High School cross-country banquet November 29 at the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center.

Hasvold, a junior, was the Warriors’ top runner throughout the season, which he concluded by winning the Avocado League meet, finishing third at the CIF meet, and placing 21st at the state meet. The Warriors finished second in the league, third in the CIF finals, and 11th at the state meet.
