Last weekend, the members of the Fallbrook FFA with steer projects headed up to face the cold weather and tough competitors at the Sierra Winter Classic steer show. The students had worked hard with their projects, and the hours put in shown through the well-behaved steers.
Today, the monthly Fallbrook FFA Chapter Meeting will be held at the Fallbrook Ag Department. At this meeting, the Barnyard Olympics will be held, which is a way for the members to have a fun, teambuilding experience after the business at the meeting has been finished.
One of the topics that will be brought up at the meeting is the Made for Excellence and Advanced Leadership Academy Leadership Conferences that will be held this weekend. At these conferences, members have the opportunity to meet current and past state officers as well as other members.
Lastly, the last weekend in January, members on judging teams will be competing at the Norte Vista Field Day against all the other chapters in our section.
This month is one full of activities for the members and the months to come are packed as well with things such as leadership conferences, a banquet and our annual Optimist Youth Fair. These next months will be filled with activities and events to look forward to for the rest of the year!
