Odella "Irene" Boring

Odella “Irene” Boring was born August 18, 1931, in Shawnee, OK. She moved to Fallbrook nine years ago to be closer to her family after the passing of her husband, George Paul Boring. A member of the Fallbrook Senior Center, Irene also volunteered two to three times a week at the St. John’s Thrift Store, where she made many friends. She passed away at home on February 12, 2007, from cancer.

Irene is survived by son Darrell Boring, Shell Beach, CA; daughter and son-in-law Darlene and Mark Hutchison, Fallbrook, CA; son Steve Boring, Fallbrook, CA; and brother Raymond Childress and sister Estel Ashcraft, OK.

In addition, she had six grandkids and four great-grandkids: Tammy Hutchison, Vista, CA; Candy Hutchison, Palm Springs, CA; Steven Boring, Las Vegas, NV; Destiny Covalt, Grand Junction, CO; Tamara and Christopher Boring, northern CA; Kevin Hutchison, Vista, CA; Alora and James Covalt, Grand Junction, CO; and Cole Boring, Las Vegas, NV.
