A new Fallbrook animal support organization, Senior/Special Needs Animal Assistance Project Endeavor (SSNAAPE), received their official 501(c) status at the first of the year.
Establishing a nonprofit organization required a lot of paperwork, along with government fees. SSNAAPE, still in the “puppy” stages, will hold a rummage sale on February 24 (see garage sale ads) to assist with some of these expenses. To donate items please call (760) 728-0249. For more information, visit http://www.ssnaape.org or e-mail [email protected].
SSNAAPE’s mission is to encourage the adoption of senior and special needs pets by assisting with financial support for medical/surgical care and spay/neuter for individuals and rescue groups, educate the public regarding elder and special needs animal care and develop resources and support networks for domestic pet guardians in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties.
