Local artists Jack Ragland and Buck Gerlach have been commissioned by Beucler Signature Homes to create works of art for their new homes at Malabar Ranch.
“We really wanted to include local artisans in our new project,” stated Chris Beucler of Beucler Signature Homes, builders of Malabar Ranch. “We built our latest home in the style of Greene & Greene architects, who were the leaders of the craftsman era.” Buck Gerlach of Gerlach’s Art Glass created several wonderful representations of the leaded and etched glass that was prominent in the era.
Jack Ragland was asked to create a landscape that was representative of the views seen from Malabar Ranch. “We first saw Jack’s work in a local restaurant and thought it would be good to have a local talent create the image we were looking for to represent Malabar Ranch. Jack hit the mark for us,” stated Beucler.
Named after the original landowner, Malabar Ranch is Fallbrook’s newest luxury home community. Nestled between two riparian habitats in the heart of the Bonsall/Fallbrook border, Malabar Ranch comprises 34 estate homes representing a compelling blend of architectural styles that integrate elements of early Californian, Craftsman era and Tuscan style homes.
Deftly combining the glamour of early California Mansion and all the luxurious options such elegance entails, Malabar Ranch stands at the top of its class in new home communities. Priced from the mid-one-millions, the homes range in size from 3,800 square feet to over 6,100 square feet with an average lot size of two acres and offer spectacular views of Palomar Mountain as well as four other mountain ranges and valleys.
“Over and over, we’ve heard from enthusiastic visitors who have commented that Malabar Ranch homes have all the features of a custom home and more ‘without the headaches of building a custom home,’” says Lisa Beucler, co-owner of Beucler Signature Homes. Combined, the Beuclers bring over 50 years of homebuilding experience to Malabar Ranch.
“Of the thousands of homes I’ve built, Malabar represents absolutely the best,” Chris says. “This community is a culmination of our years of experience working with terrific architects, craftsman and interior designers. You can see this in very detail, every finish and every architectural design of Malabar Ranch.”
