Welk offers dining options

ESCONDIDO — Welk Resorts, a North County hospitality and entertainment landmark, offers two new dining experiences for locals to enjoy.

On Wednesdays, the Canyon Grille features all-you-can-eat prime rib meals served from 5 to 9 p.m. for $19.95. Each Friday, the restaurant features a seafood buffet from 5 to 9 p.m. for $21.50. Award-winning chef Hugo Lorenzana will be offering a variety of dining options for the seafood buffet, including fresh oysters on the half-shell, peel-and-eat shrimp, crab salad, shrimp and clam ceviche, marinated New Zealand green mussels, steamed clams and mussels in a white wine reduction, saffron rice with seafood and the fresh catch of the day.
