FALLBROOK — One of Fallbrook’s most exciting, fun-filled annual events, Arts in the Park, will take place at Live Oak Park on Sunday, April 29! Families are invited to come to the park between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day and are sure to be thrilled with the number of creative activities offered.
One of the exciting opportunities will be to see the free puppet show. John Chambers, associate puppeteer with Jim Gamble Puppet Productions, will present “Circus,” a fast-paced marionette show sure to delight audiences of all ages. This mini-circus production has toured Hawaii, Japan and Korea.
This wonderful day of creativity and learning is presented by the creative, ambitious women of Rally for Children, a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing better opportunities for the youth of the community, and the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District.
In addition to the puppet show, the Museum of Making Music from Carlsbad will provide experimental musical activities, and dance and singing performances will take place throughout the day.
Various creative art projects such as hat-making, mask-making, clay projects and much more will be sponsored by groups including the American Association of University Women, Girl Scouts, National Charity League and PTA groups. Additional help will be provided by members of 4-H, AVID students from Fallbrook High School, Fallbrook Rotary Club and Fallbrook Kiwanis.
