Golf tournament to support mission work in Africa

FALLBROOK — Lay missionaries from Fallbrook Presbyterian Church will soon embark on yet another summer of mission activities on the continent of Africa. Teams will be working in the countries of South Africa, Malawi and Uganda to bring a variety of humanitarian and spiritual support to displaced, impoverished and ailing people.

Several fundraising events are planned throughout the spring in order to finance airfare, lodging and needed materials. The most prominent fundraiser is the annual golf tournament, which will be held at the California Golf Club on May 7.
