Septic system workshop May 30

RAINBOW– Residents of Rainbow and the Rainbow Creek Watershed are facing new Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) regulations for Rainbow Creek. The regulations focus on reducing the amount of nitrates and phosphates in Rainbow Creek. Part of the efforts to educate the residents about how they must reduce the amounts of nitrates and phosphates into the water system is to help them understand septic systems and to keep their septic systems from failing and polluting local ground and surface waters.
