Free summer film fest to inaugurate Election 2008

The classic film “Seven Days in May” will kick off the Fallbrook Democratic Club’s Election 2008 Summer Film Festival on June 23 at 2 p.m. It will be the first in a series of free, fun-filled afternoons featuring the club’s new high-definition projection system, a “popcorn wagon” and beverages.

“Seven Days in May” features an all-star cast, including Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Fredrick March, Ava Gardner, Edmond O’Brien and Martin Balsam, and was nominated for two Academy Awards.
