Encore enjoys 'Flyup' luncheon

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Encore Club held its annual Flyup Luncheon and Installation of Officers for the 2007-2008 year on June 13 at Vista Valley Country Club. There were 26 ladies who were in the Fallbrook Newcomers Club for more than three years and were eligible to “fly up” to Encore. Each attendee was given a pink rose as a welcome gesture.

New officers were also installed, as is the custom at this luncheon. The officers are: President, Margaret Muller; First Vice-President, Jeanne Cusimano; Second Vice-Presidents, Joy McCormack and Sheila Cox; Third Vice-Presidents, Susan Weeks and Karilyn Luchsinger; Recording Secretary, Darla Voorhees; Treasurer, Joan Voigt; Corresponding Secretary, Jeanette Siefert; and Parliamentarian, Outgoing President Marla Clemens.

The Encore Club is dark over the summer but will resume with a coffee on September 4 at Fallbrook Public Utility District. Social time starts at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting starts at 10.
